Farewell my beloved brother

Hello, thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. Let me introduce you to my little brother Raymond Castillo-Barr. He is 19 years old. He came into Oakland’s Childers Hospital on May 30th 2018 for a simple routine procedure he does every year. He had a complication during his surgery that had him aspirate food he had digested. Due to that complication he died on the operating table for about 10 minutes. During those 10 minutes doctors were able to do cpr and get his heart back. While those 10 minutes of being under his brain did not receive blood or oxygen that it needed. Which came the outcome of having a major brain injury. He is currently in the Pediatric ICU(PICU). The doctors are not sure of why or how this happened. They have given him 72 hours to know what will come next from this. Once it hit 72 hours, there has not been any good changes. The doctors have recommended that when our family is ready, we need to say goodbye. We are a low income family, that my mom is worried about financials for his funeral. That is the last thing she needs to worry about after everything that has been going on. For this, I have started this page to ask anyone to donate anything you can to help us financially with this crisis we are having to come to terms with. Thank you very much
