Hello, my name is Raymond Jones and I live in Lawrenceville, GA. I am a father of five children who I love dearly. In October of 2015, I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), an autoimmune disease which makes the body think it’s a foreign invader so it start to fight itself.
The fight got really serious for me when I was admitted into the Barrow Neurological Center in Phoenix, Arizona and diagnosed with stroke... 8 strokes to be exact. Whoa you say, that's a lot, but I'm still standing by the grace of God. I had gone through 6 rounds of chemo therapy and things improved, but then two more strokes happened. Right then, I was placed on short -term disability which provided SOME income for a short time. Then the money was gone. Because of the Lupus, I had to move from my home in Arizona back to Atlanta because of the intense heat and exposure to the sun in Arizona. Two weeks after my family and I set roots in Georgia, I was hospitalized again; this time I had to have a pacemaker installed. At this time, I humbly need your help. I was denied Long-term disability and ultimately let go of my job because of company policy. I have applied for Social Security, but the wait is long and now all of my resources are depleted. My rent is past due and now I'm facing eviction; not to mention the utility bills and food cost.
I am asking for your help so that I can get my family's rent paid within the next few days and for any other financial assistance that you can give to help with utilities and food. My family and I are very grateful for whatever financial help you can donate. If you know of anyone who needs an IT professional, or if you know of anyone who I can be of assistance to, please let me know.
Thank you and God Bless,
Raymond Jones
