Dear friends and family, with a heavy heart, we inform you that Raymond Ortega passed away. He was welcomed into God’s arms and is now an angel in heaven

Raymond was re-diagnosed with Aplastic anemia in August of 2022. He was receiving transfusions, antibiotics and all medications needed to keep him stable while we searched for a bone marrow donor. Unfortunately along the way, Raymond’s immune system became compromised and would pick up infections that his body wasn’t able to fight off. A bone marrow donor and transplant was no longer a viable option for him.

Raymond was reunited w/ God on March 19th, 2023. Many people were blessed to experience Raymond’s love. He loved to make jokes, dance, and just live life. His smile lit up the room, and he knew it too! He held a light that can never be dimmed. He was a beloved son, brother, boyfriend, friend, grandson, cousin, and uncle.

We humbly ask for assistance in helping his family in preparing to lay Raymond to rest. In lieu of sending flowers, please consider donating any amount within your budget to help pay for the cost funeral services, and beyond. Thank you.
