RAYMOND L. DALTON AFTER PASSING AWAY 7-4-21
As much as I hate going this route, it is something I need to do. My name is Melinda (Linda) Dalton and I just lost my best friend, my baby, Raymond Dalton. We showed up in Pinetop on June 24th to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary. 2 hours after arriving, Ray took his boy Buford for a walk. On this walk, Ray collapsed of a widow maker heart attack. His good friend Galen performed CPR on-site until medics arrived to transport him to Summit. He had to be medevac'd to Banner Tucson. As much as his body seemed to make improvements, he was not waking up. They did an MRI and that showed little brain activity and was told no chance of recovery. He was eventually transferred to Casa De La Luz Hospice. I woke up at 3am on the 4th and felt I had to be there. I got to lay in bed with him for awhile and held his hand the whole time. I told him it was ok for him to go and that I love him very much. He passed at 7:10 a.m. This is breaking my heart to relive the experience, I want it told to others that didn't know the whole story. Some have made a difference reaching out to me and all the FB friends have been wonderful in their support. Some hospital and doctors bills are already arriving. Don't they have any compassion in letting me grieve first? Obviously not. Well, long story short, that is why I started this. I Love so much Ray and miss you and look forward to us reuniting forever. My heart is so broken.
