I am Raylene Allen, a senior at Soquel High School, and I recently finished my very last year as a Capitola Junior Lifeguard this past summer. I have been given an extremely last minute, but incredible oppourtunity to compete for TEAM USA at the International Beach Lifeguard Competition in Adalaide, Austrailia!!!
       I have grown up here my whole life, and when friends introduced me to Capitola Junior Guards, there was no going back. I fell in love with the program and the people behind it. I would be honored to represent them and my hometown of Santa Cruz in this once in a lifetime opportunity.
       Unfortunatley, my family and I received the news too late to be able to afford the cost of this trip with JUST OVER TWO WEEKS TO REACH MY GOAL! I am asking for your support to help get me to Austrailia to represent Team USA!
