Friends for Ray & Chris Stewart

Ray Stewart is a loving husband, faithful father, loyal friend, and a brother in the Lord. His health crisis began a year ago when he was hospitalized with a heart attack. He has congestive heart failure and has been getting regular treatment but his heart was so weakened from the heart attack that he's never fully recovered. He was taken to the hospital in Sioux Falls on Saturday, January 27th. They did all they could do for him there and so Mayo clinic flew him to Rochester on Tuesday, February 13th. At Mayo they are continuing to see if they can drain as much fluid as they can which will allow his heart to hopefully beat stronger. They're weighing the options to see what would be most beneficial for him whether it be a pump, a valve repair, a transplant, or a combination thereof. Ray has been unable to work for some time. Along with lost wages, his family is saddled with increasing travel expenses for his wife, Chris, and their three daughters; deductibles; ongoing health insurance coverage; etc. Please consider giving generously to help this family in need and to encourage them during this health crisis.
