Rayah’s Study Abroad 2024

Hi, my name is Rayah Wilson, and I am fundraising to help pay for my upcoming study abroad trip to Costa Rica. This summer I will be in a month-long program studying Health Care in Latin America and taking a Medical Spanish language course. This amazing opportunity will further my education and help me reach my career goal of becoming a nurse. Thank you in advance for any and every donation!!

A little bit about the program and what I will be doing:

• Spend 4 weeks in Costa Rica this summer and earn credits studying Spanish for the Health Professions and Healthcare in Latin America

• Gain Spanish language proficiency to work and interact with Spanish speaking patients and their families

• Participate in clinical rotations at San José’s premier private medical facility, Hospital Biblica, or complete community work in social welfare services

• Live with a host family where you can gain insights into the Costa Rican culture and practice your Spanish skills

• Take field trips to explore Costa Rica
