On November 29th at 5:50 PM, my dog Raya — a 3-year-old husky, the sweetest, most playful girl you could ever meet — was hit by a Domino’s delivery driver on Union Rd in the Glenmore area of Kelowna.

A witness saw everything.

The driver fled the scene without stopping, without checking on her, and without getting out of the car. Raya was left screaming and unable to move.

Raya isn’t “just a dog.”

She is my best friend, my soulmate, and truly like a child to me.

She loves every person she meets, especially kids — she’s the dog everyone falls in love with instantly.

Now she is fighting through:

* A severely broken leg

* Multiple deep wounds

* Extreme pain

* Unable to walk or stand

* Unable to use the bathroom on her own

* Struggles to eat & drink water alone

The vets have told us she needs extensive treatments, surgeries, and immediate ongoing care.

Her medical costs are already around 9,000$, and could reach $10,000+ depending on surgery and recovery.

Her splint change is already a day late, must be replaced — it’s urgent, and without it her leg could get worse — but I simply cannot afford it right now.

Money is incredibly tight. I’m working low income, and the cost hit me out of nowhere.

I’m absolutely heartbroken and desperate to keep her safe and out of pain.

I cannot lose her.
