Hi, my name is Ray, and I never imagined I’d be in a position like this.
A fire just destroyed the only place I had to stay. In a matter of minutes, I lost my shelter and nearly everything I owned. I walked away with nothing but the clothes on my back.
This couldn’t have happened at a worse time. I’m currently recovering from multiple serious injuries, including a broken femur and surgeries on both wrists. I’m unable to work, my car is broken down, and I’m in the middle of a divorce. With no vehicle, no home, and limited physical ability, I’m now facing homelessness with no real safety net.
I’m not someone who asks for help easily. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own. But right now, I truly need support just to get back to a baseline—temporary housing, basic necessities, transportation, and help covering essentials while I recover physically and rebuild my life.
Anything you can give—whether it’s a donation, a share, or just kind words—means more than I can put into words. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping me take the first steps toward stability again.
With gratitude,
Ray
