Ray McElhinney’s Fight with Prostate Cancer

My name is Tyrell McElhinney, I am Ray and Shauna’s eldest son. I am starting this go fund me for my Father Ray McElhinney and his wife Shauna to help with their continual battle with his Prostate cancer. He is a Husband, Father, and a fighter.

Ray was diagnosed with aggressive incurable prostate cancer 5 years ago, at the time of diagnosis it was already too far gone to undergo removal of the prostate. The cancer has metastasized over time throughout his whole body. He has undergone any and every treatment available to him including 4 rounds of aggressive chemotherapy and countless rounds of aggressive radiation treatment. He is a fighter and has never given up through these hard times. Things have progressively gotten worse as he is unable to walk due to further complications with the cancer but he is still fighting every day.

We are starting this go fund me to help with any unforeseen costs that have and may arise due to the battle with this terrible illness. Ray and his wife have been forced to not work for the last 2 years while dealing with the various hurdles that have been thrown his way. These donations would help he and his wife with continuing care, medical expenses and end of life costs that may inevitably arise.

I am sure Ray and Shauna have touched many of you personally and been a significant part of many peoples lives.
