Rey Marvive

My name is Allyn Cook and this is for our friend and brotha Rey. For those who know Rey, he was one of a kind. What you see is what you get and it was always with love and laughter. Our brother Rey was diagnosed with Esophagus Cancer in January 2020 and  on September  2020 was diagnosed with a secondary Stomach Cancer. And did everything he could for more time. On March 9, 2021, Rey lost his fight with Cancer leaving behind many devastated hearts. Rey fought so hard to be with his family and friends. Never fearing death but only fearing leaving the ones he loved behind. Rey and Robin got married in 2018 and only had months in their new home before Rey was diagnosed with Cancer.  Rey's wife Robin never left his side, always praying for another day. Rey survived the last months, pushing to live, to be able to have more time with his 5 boys ages 10 to 23. He gave us a year, but no one was prepared to say Goodbye.  Since the beginning of the year Rey has been in and out of emergency. Each time he thanked God for a solution to the problem. The last emergency visit Rey did not come home. Rey's wife would have done anything Rey wanted, when he said he wanted to live, she fought for more time for him. Rey's body eventually said differently.  On March 9th, 2021 surrounded by his wife, mother and sister Rey went to be with his Lord and Savior. Rey was the best husband, father, brother, friend, and family member a person could have had. His heart, humor and love will be missed. 
His friends would like to help his family with medical bills and finances that have accumulated since his fight to live began.. If there is anything you could help our brother Rey's family with, we know that they would really be grateful.  We love you Rey and we are going to miss his presence and joy.
