We were informed that at this stage his cancer is not curable.
The doctor suggested 2 immunotherapy drugs to use his immune system to try and slow down the progression of the disease...it may or may not extend his life a bit longer...it may or may not ease his symptoms. There are some concerns that by using these immunotherapy drugs his immune system could start attacking healthy cells as well. There is a long list of possible side effects, half of which he seems to have anyway.
Due to constant bloating he's having a hard time eating or drinking enough, and he gets sick sometimes. Dehydration is the biggest concern. We're doing our best to try different things to make sure his body is getting what it needs.
