Ray Kline’s Healing Journey

Hi Everyone

My name is Valerie. I am fundraising for Ray Kline. All funds will go to Ray for Hyperbaric Chamber Therapy, IV Therapy and Supplements , as well as travel expenses.

Ray’s short story is ……

For those who may not know me, my name is Ray Kline. At the end of Sept 2017 I had a stroke of which I was starting to recover from , when 2 weeks later I had another stroke event. After another 2 weeks in the hospital I went to a Rehabilitation Hospital for another 2 or 3 weeks of which I did the usual round of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. The stokes left me with lasting issues on my right side, that I am still struggling with today. Because of the lasting effects of the stroke I have been unable to go back to work as a Truck Driver, when I would love nothing more. And my stability issues and the inability to use my right hand and arm keep me from any other kind of work. Everyday I live with the sensations on my right side of heaviness, stiffness, changing sensations of pins and needles, sometimes pain, and tremors and not being able to control my right hand

For the last 5 years, I have been stuck in an endless revolving door of the Emergency room, Stroke Clinic and various Doctor visits. After countless visits to each of these, I have found there is nothing western medicine can do for me except prescribe medications to try and manage the sensations I am feeling. Each time they put me on another medication it seems to set me back. I’m not going to accept that.

There have been positive results with Hyperbaric Therapy on stroke patients. I am hoping I can be one of those positive results.

I know that my brain can heal and am going to commit to Naturopathic and Holistic Therapies. I have met with a Naturopathic Doctor who runs a clinic in the city that does HBOT ( Hyperbaric Chamber Therapy ( https://www.trumed.ca/ ). He suggested I do 40 treatments, 90 minutes each, 5 days a week, which works out to about 2 months. He wants to follow the same course that the studies did for other stroke patients. With it, I will also be doing IV Therapy with supplements and herbs. Unfortunately, Benefits do not cover the Therapies I will be doing, so everything will be out of pocket. Plus I will have to travel into the city every day for the 2 months which is an added expense. I need help to fund this treatment.
