Ray Jew's Memorial College Fund

Raymond Jew passed on June 1st, peacefully and surrounded by family. Ray had a rare form of stomach cancer (GIST). Unfortunately, his treatments were no longer effective, and the tumors began to grow uncontrollably, and his condition and health deteriorated quite rapidly over the last 6 months.

Although it became increasingly clear that his condition was terminal, he pressed on and continued to work to provide for his family knowing that both of his daughters would be attending college in the fall. He also did not want to be a burden to his work family, largely keeping his condition private.

Ray connected with everyone. He was an amazing husband to Cindy, incredibly dedicated father, and friend to all. When you chatted with Ray it could go off on many fun tangents as he had so many interests. He was quick with a funny comment, smile and or laugh and always available to help.  Almost all conversations with Ray ended in smiles! 

In an effort to assist with college tuition for his daughters (Madison – Genetics major) and Logan (Environmental/Sustainability major) who are attending UC Davis, we have set up this Go-Fund-Me account.

We appreciate you supporting the Jew family in any way you can. Ray will be incredibly missed, and we are all blessed to have had him in our lives, although it was much too short.
