Hi, my name is Tom Brown, and I'm a friend of Ray Hollister. As you probably know, our buddy Ray recently had a bad fall, resulting in a painful and debilitating back injury. While at a skating rink (he had taken his son there for a friend's birthday party), he slipped and landed badly, suffering a compression fracture to his L1 spinal vertebrae. Ray was taken in an ambulance to the emergency room at Memorial, where they kept him for three nights. He is currently wearing a full-torso brace and has difficulty moving and performing simple tasks. Doctors estimate at least a three-month road to recovery.
Hospital stays are expensive even without considering missing a lot of work. Ray also has a family to support (his wife Amber and three kids). Please consider helping Ray out on his road to recovery with a financial contribution. The Hollister family would greatly appreciate it.
