Ray Got Robbed

Hi, I'm Ray! I'm a self-employed comic creator, and this past week I was exploited by an illustration job scam and had $5200 stolen from me, and the bank can't do anything to help with it. Comics is a poorly paid job as it is, so needless to say I can't afford to recover from this. Any donations will be used to recoup the loss and get my bank account out of the negative. In the meantime, I have been filing police and FBI reports, and job hunting for something more stable than freelance. Comics will always be my passion and I'll keep making them for as long as I can, but I can't continue to live on poverty wages of the industry as creators continue to be undervalued and underpaid.
