Eaton Fire Survivors Jane and Ray Need You
Donation protected
Hello Altadena/Pasadena (and global) Neighbors. I am starting this GoFundMe to help a man with brain trauma, Ray and his senior dog Jane, who were left on the streets of Pasadena due to the Eaton fires.
For 8 years, Ray and Jane lived with a kind-hearted family in Altadena, but they were forced to move to the East Coast after the fires, leaving Ray and Jane with no shelter.
As you can see from our Nextdoor posts, Ray was recently mugged and beaten up. There have also been instances of “rescues” trying to separate Jane from Ray despite the fact that he’s been caring for her since she was 3 weeks old. (She’s now 11.) For anyone who has a dog, you know that bond can’t be broken.
As an Eaton fire survivor with a 12-year-old dog that I’ve had since she was three weeks old, I am blessed and grateful that my home is still standing, and I vowed to help those who were less fortunate than I.
If you can find it in your heart to donate, any amount will help us get Ray and Jane off the concrete streets and into a safe environment where they aren’t in danger of being mugged and beaten up again.
Thank you for your time, your compassion, and your donations. If you can’t donate, please share!
