On October 1st, this world lost a hero. Stephen "Ray" Bradford.
Some hero's wear capes, this one always wore long sleeves, but was never afraid to roll them up to help you.
Anyone who knew Ray, knew our needs, came before his. Ray never had a lot, but when he did have a little extra, it went to one of his favorite causes.
It is now our turn to step-up. While we may not be blood, we are his family. It's out turn to take care of him and his causes now.
The outpouring of love and admiration is beyond belief, something that even Ray would not believe. He would constantly say he was "not doing enough". (Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi even tweeted about him)
All the money we raise will first be used to take care of his final expenses. Then when all the dust has settled, any funds left over will be distributed to the causes he cared so deeply about.
