Ravi's Rotties
The night of August 16th would change the lives of so many, for the soul of the most gracious, loving, and kind person was tragically taken from us. Ravi Sullivan-Freeman was 25 years old, and on the brink of life. He has just completed his bachelor's degree in biology, while working two jobs. One as a pharmacy technicain, the other a veterinary technician. To say Ravi loved life is an understatement. His goal everyday was to make those around him smile and feel loved. He accomplished this in so many ways, twerking lessons, dance parties in the middle of the hall or just over the shoulder snooping! He was always available to help anyone who needed a hand, whether it was holding an animal for a procedure or saving a catheter.
Ravi was a huge cat lover, and was always looking for a cute one to smoosh, and love on. But his ultimate animal love were rottweilers. If there was one in the hospital he would hunt it down, love on it and then parade it around the hospital for all to see. One of the best memories was his face lighting up when a rottweiler puppy came into the ER department. The happiness and joy he radiated was palpable for the rest of the day. To honor this love and his memory, all donations collected will be donated to Recycle Rotts Inc, a locate rottweiler rescue based in Oswego, IL.
