Raven's service dog
Hello,
My name is Raven and I'm diagnosed with a serious mental health condition, borderline personality disorder. I was recently approved for an emotional service dog by my psychologist. So my family and I moved to a new house that would allow a service dog without a big legal battle, planning to start searching for the perfect dog in a few months when the cost of moving stopped being such a burden.
However, the perfect service dog came along all of a sudden. His family is moving a long distance and looking for a good home for him. Unfortunately, this doesn't give me time to earn the money for his rehoming fee and starting supplies. Usually it wouldn't be a big problem, but moving exhausted our finances and I'm curently on medical leave from work due to mental health issues.
So I'm asking for help, because it could be a long time and a lot more money before the right dog comes along again to take on this role for me.
Rambo is a one year old American bulldog. He's already familiar and comfortable with kids - a big concern to me with a young daughter. He's calm, friendly, comfortable with strangers, and a fast learner.
His rehoming fee is $250 so I'm trying to earn $350 to cover his rehoming fee, gofundme fees, his harness, leash, toys, etc.
Any help would be a big deal for me. This dog could be a big turning point in my therapy and rehab.
