Raven's Roots has been teaching classes in permaculture, herbalism, ethnobotany, wilderness survival, fermentation and naturalist skills in western Washington for close to a decade now. Over the last 5 years we've built out vast permaculture gardens and food/medicinal forests on the farm we've been renting in hopes that we would be there for the long term. Unfortunately we were recently told by our landlords that we could no longer teach classes at our 5 acre farm in Ferndale, WA and are now being forced to move.

We've fortunately been offered a place to live and continue the school on an amazing piece of land in the Methow Valley in Washington called Skalitude. However, we are tasked with getting thousands of plants across the mountains over to our new home. We rely on these plants for our main revenue stream for our family and they are the center of our classrooms. Without being able to teach, we are struggling a bit financially at the moment and are requesting help to get our plants to our new home and getting the gardens re-established again. Your donations will help us rent multiple moving trucks, tractor equipment to prepare our new soils, and the compost and mulch required to help our plants thrive.
