My desire to be a teacher started in second grade and on May 21, 2017 I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Augustana College with a degree in Spanish Education. Studying Spanish lead me to study abroad in the fall of my junior year in Seville, Spain for 10 weeks. I fell in love and have wanted to return ever since. Back in the U.S.A., I learned about the Cultural Ambassadors: North American Language and Culture Assistants in Spain
program and decided that I would apply for the year following graduation. At the end of September I will leave for Cáceres, Extremadura, Spain
under a government, education grant where I will teach English and culture at two different elementary/middle schools. The program pays me a small stipend and covers my insurance while I am over there, but I need to cover my own way there and back (which my mother tells me I must do) as well as visa fees. After paying for college mostly independently, my bank account is pretty empty. This where you come in. Anything that you are willing to donate to help support me in this endeavor will be appreciated and allow me to cover all other living expenses in Spain. If you'd prefer to support me in a different manner, please feel free to email me.
