On August 17 the Crowley family was involved in a car accident. Jimmy’s sister, Jenni Muro-Crowley, was placed in critical care after the accident and underwent surgery on her spine. Her treatment will continue for many months and the extent of her long-term recovery remains unclear. Husband Ryan—brother, as we call him—needs to work to support the family. This leaves Raven James, their 4 year old son and our nephew, in need of care that they cannot currently provide without costly assistance. Raven James is having a hard time, too, and needs as much structure in his life as possible. He is a beautiful, active little boy who loves imaginative play and being outside. Jenni is a long ways from being able to drive or pick him up; she is currently reliant on a wheelchair. She is also still in the hospital and will need her own caretakers once she goes home. Your support for Raven James at this time would be very much appreciated. This unforeseen event is a hardship that no family should have to face alone, especially when it comes to a young child. I know they appreciate the care and willingness of the community, family and friends that have already donated meals, special visits to the hospital, flowers, time and love.
