Hello everyone, this is Raul Jr, son of Raul Rodriguez Sr.  

In early February, 2021 Don Raul (as many of you know him) became ill due to the dreaded Covid-19. A week and a half went by and it seemed like he was on track to recover. On the morning of February 12, my dad was rushed to the hospital due to respiratory complications. And on February 24, 2021 we unfortunately lost a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend- Raul Rodriguez Sr... My family and I stood strong by my dad's side as he valiantly fought for 12 days. We celebrated his 63rd birthday via zoom on the 23rd. Trying times for my family to say the least.

Don Raul was a humble, sweet man of love and faith. My dad was the comfort and the strength in our home.  My dad was silly. He made us smile, he made us laugh and he made us angry. All in the name of love. 
My dad sacrificed a lot of time giving back to the Catholic Church, having served most recently as a Lector in the San Miguel Catholic Church community. My dad touched many families and lives. 

Let us honor Don Raul by giving him the proper burial that he deserves.

While we continue to grieve, my mother, Mercedes, myself and my 3 siblings, Jeanette, Vivian and Daniel are seeking to alleviate these unforeseeable financial burdens placed upon us. Funds will go directly towards funeral, memorial costs and costs that we may not be aware of at this time.

My family and I acknowledge that we are all facing challenging times during this pandemic. We sincerely appreciate everyone who is able to help, from the bottom of our hearts.
