This fund has been created on the behalf of the family of Raul Flores.
Raul was diagnosed in October 2018 with stage 4 spindle cell sarcoma cancer. For the last 10 months he fought bravely through chemo and radiation treatments. Unfortunately the cancer continued to spread as spindle cell sarcomas are a very rare form of cancer. August 2, 2019 Raul was called home to heaven ending his courageous battle on earth. His love and legacy will live forever within his 2 daughters, Stephanie and Stacie, and all of us who loved him and were touched by his soul here on earth.
Here are a few words from Raul's daughter Stephanie:
Thank you all so much for the prayers, love, thoughts, and kind words you have sent my family and my Pops during this long journey. These last 10 months have been very difficult watching my dad get sicker and sicker. We did everything we could to keep him happy and healthy during his fight but sometimes cancer has its own agenda. While we might not understand God's plan we have faith that His plan is greater than ours and that He would not bring us to it if He could not get us through it. I now find comfort and peace knowing he is no longer in any pain and with our God in heaven resting peacefully.
I'll never go a day in my life wondering if my dad loved my sister and I because he made sure we knew it. I am so proud to be his daughter. And I am so thankful for all of you, and the moments you all shared with him. His spirit lives on in all of us. <3
