Hi everyone, my name is Tiziana, and this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write.

On the 8th of December last year, my life changed forever.
I was rushed to the hospital after terrifying convulsions, and within days I heard the words no one is ever prepared for:
“You have a brain tumour.”

In that moment, everything stopped.
My plans to spend my birthday and Christmas in Italy with my family and friends vanished. Instead of hugs and celebration, I found myself facing surgery, chemo, radiotherapy, fear, and uncertainty.

Since then, every day has been a battle I never imagined living.
I have tried to stay strong — especially for my little girl, Chloe, who is only five years old.
She is my light, my reason to fight, my courage when I feel like I have none left.

The treatments have taken so much from me. Some days I feel like I can’t breathe. The right side of my body still doesn’t work properly, but I pretend I’m fine so my daughter doesn’t worry… because I want her to see hope, not fear, when she looks at me.

But the truth is, this journey is overwhelming — medically, emotionally, and financially.
There is still no cure, no clear path, and the costs are heavy:
• travelling to hospitals and specialists
• seeking spiritual and emotional support
• trying whenever possible to return to Italy to be close to my family
• covering living expenses during months I cannot work
• creating moments of joy for my daughter, so she has beautiful memories even in this storm

All I want is to give Chloe memories of her mum smiling… even if I am hurting inside.
All I want is time with my family, strength for the fight, and peace of mind to keep going.
