This is difficult for me to do. I'm not used to asking for assistance.

As most of you know, I was in a car accident in late November. I'm fine physically, but it did take an emotional toll. Coupled with difficulties at my job over the past few months—a powdery substance scare and two student deaths—the accident added more stress. Now I am in the difficult situation of having to get a new car. The insurance company will give me some money back, and I want to use it for a down payment to minimize the loan I have to get. My budget has a little flexibility for a car payment. I hadn't anticipated having to buy another vehicle for a while, and I just need a decent one that will get me around. I'm not looking for anything expensive, either.

I am asking for whatever assistance you can give. And, if you cannot contribute, please share this. Any help I can get will make it easier. I appreciate you for whatever you can do.
