Hello there!
We are Gazz and Tara and we own Axolotl & Reptile Rescue and Advice UK based in Evesham, WR11 4HG.
We have a team of 17 volunteers who come in to help on various days of the week.
Our Story:
Back in 2018 we started rescuing animals at home, primarily Axolotls. Tara and Gazz were both not working at the time due to Tara’s declining health issues.
Between Tara and Gazz they have 5 children who also help out at times; especially their youngest Ava.
Both Tara and Gazz have always had exotic animals and have exceptional reptile knowledge.
They started taking reptiles in, rehabilitating them and rehoming them, when they moved to Morton they then opened up their first rescue centre.
As the rescue gained recognition and was getting attention, donations came in to help. We are currently on our third rescue as more and more animals come in for us to help, heal and rehome.
We are looking for help towards raising enough funds to get another centre so we can turn it into a rehabilitation/hospital facility as the number of animals we need to help is ever increasing
