Rashmi's ski for Sri Ram Ashram

My name is Rashmi and I am an art therapist, registered psychotherapist and a novice cross country skier. I have volunteered many times at Sri Ram Ashram in rural Northern India, a home for 80 orphaned and destitute children where they are deeply loved, nurtured, given medical help, full education and become contributing members of society. sriramashram.org The orphanage runs completely by volunteers and donations and they have been in lockdown since March last year. I am launching this fundraiser to help the children continue with education and anything else they need most right now. As I mentioned, I am a beginner skier, but my love of nature and these children is fueling me to accomplish 310 km, the distance of Lake Ontario. My goal is to raise $10/km. The funds raised go through Ram Yoga Centre, the Canadian charity supporting them and money goes directly to what the children need, without any extra fees so anything given will help make an impact.
