Rashad Ingraham Memorial Services

Donation protected
From Miami, FL, my name is Hassan Ingraham. On the behalf of my family we are attempting to raise money to commission the funeral expenses for our brother/son Rashad Ingraham.  Funds from this campaign will be deposited directly into my parents' account so that they can provide Rashad a proper home going. The world of dance and specifically the dance community of Miami has lost yet another angel, Rashad "Prinshad Lee" Ingraham. Rashad will forever be remembered in the hearts and minds of friends, family, and the dance community. All the laughs, his bigger than life personality and confidence will be cherished and missed most. The Ingraham family greatly appreciates all of your love and support during this difficult time.

Rashad Ingraham transitioned to be with God the morning of October 16th after post surgical complications. Rashad first discovered his talents after being accepted into the Dance Magnet Program at Charles R. Drew Middle under the direction of Sylvia Padron. Ms. Padron saw great potential in Rashad and he soon became her muse. Rashad graduated middle school and was accepted into New World School of the Arts where he continued to pursue his love for dance. Rashad’s passion for dance didn’t stop there, along the way he had the opportunity to perform and train with Diva Arts Dance Studio formerly known as United Dancers of Miami under the direction of Shannon Haynes and the Thomas Armour Youth Ballet under the leadership of Ruth Wiesen. Rashad participated in summer intensives with prestigious institutions such as Dance Theater of Harlem, The Ailey School, Miami City Ballet and many more. During his senior year at New World School of the Arts, Rashad was chosen to compete in the National Foundation Arts Association (NFAA) where he won first place and Presidential Scholar with an unique solo choreographed by one of his many mentors, Peter London. This was a pivotal point in Rashad’s life, so he began focusing on giving back to his community. Through hosting master classes at various studios in Miami, presenting choreography at different venues and volunteering countless hours to public schools, Rashad became a mentor and inspiration to many. This is a great loss for his family and the dance community. All of those that knew Rashad, knew he was a talented, passionate, funny, loving and charismatic guy. With your support, we can celebrate his life together and express how much he is and will always be loved. Thank you in advance for your support and please continue to keep Rashad’s family in your prayers as we mourn the loss of an dancing angel.
