Rashaan Brown Reentry Seeds

Friends/Family/Trusted Peers,
After 16 years of incarceration, my cousin, Rashaan Brown is finally returning to us! Not only has he paid his debt to society for the crime he committed, but he has spent his time maturing and reforming himself into the astute, ambitious and self-reflective man that we always knew he'd become. He even completed his AA in sociology with Bard College (bpi.bard.edu); and will be finishing up his BA in social work with plans to focus his work on the inmate population. He has a bright future ahead of him, and I will be there to root him on.
Getting back on your feet after spending 16 years incarcerated is no easy feat...there are clothing to cop, car fare to get to and from appointments and classes to sign up for (to name just a few of the things he'll have to do his first few months home). He has the full support of myself and my loving family, but we need just a little help. Plant a seed in his life in the form of helping us reach our fund goal!
And if you don't have a few dollars to spare, I'm also accepting clothing donations and any other reentry resources you may know about.
Thank you all in advance...with much love,
Artesia
