On September 23rd, My uncle Ra was unexpectedly found in a coma. He’s been in the hospital in critical condition, and due to COVID, the regulations at the hospital are very strict and we are unable to even visit him. As of right now he has critical damage to his nervous system, there’s a very slim chance of recovery but we’re keeping a hopeful heart. Unfortunately, we’ve gone through this very same instance exactly 2 years ago with my grandpa that suffered the same illness. Since my grandpa passed away he’s been helping my grandma take care of their home.

Doctors are keeping us updated through zoom as of right now.

 

My uncle Ra was born November 22nd, 1981 in Thailand to refugee parents who were trying to escape the Khmer Rouge. Our family would describe him as a kind person that loved animals, the life of the party, whether it was dancing or free styling on a beat, he was always putting a smile on peoples face. He’s a very hardworking man that would do anything for his family. He’s a single father to 4 children that he loves immensely. If you know my uncle he was a welcoming person and was a hell of a cook.

We will be using this fund for medical expenses and possible funeral arrangements.
