We never imagined we would be here. Ras Cantu was 24 years old, beloved son, grandson, nephew, friend and young father. He was thoughful, kind, generous, soulful and he loved wholeheartedly. One year ago, my nephew Ras was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Uveal melanoma (eye cancer) which then became metastatic to his liver. We were optimistic, buoyed by his positive spirit. But now, he has passed in peaceful sleep. He is no longer in pain. Unfortunately, funeral cost and medical bills doesn't go away with grief. So we are asking for help so we can fulfill his last wishes. If you can find it in your heart to donate, it'll help ease a little burden. Monies collected will go directly to his parents for funeral cost, some medical bills accrued, and any left over will be placed in a trust for his 20 month old son.
