Our client and friend has been struggling with lipedema and needs financial assistance. She’s had success at a clinic in the past but is in urgent need of another treatment, which she must pay for herself.

My name is Dee Jensen and I am battling a rare and aggressive form of lipedema.

It is a chronic condition that causes painful fat buildup leading to severe mobility issues and a dramatically reduced quality of life. Left improperly treated it leads to organ problems and lymphedema eventually superimposes itself on top of it Lipedema is often misunderstood and under-diagnosed, making it challenging to find the right treatment, but I was fortunate to find one that worked for me in the past. Presently this new method is only taught in Dutch so I need to go to Holland to receive treatment.

I have tried all recommended protocols for my lipedema and this is the only one that has shown results.

Four years ago, I spent my life savings to go to Holland for help .The new treatment gave me a new lease on life. It significantly reduced my pain, swelling and mobility issues.

For the first time in years, since an emergency colon surgery triggered this disease, I felt myself again. However, my rare form of lipedema can be relentless if the body goes through high stress as it did after a recent embolism followed by a pre-cancer colon surgery a few months ago.

Now I am faced with more unexpected costs due to the aggressive onset. I need help with expenses by this year as neither insurance nor government health coverage will pay for this life changing treatment, as is common with rare illnesses.

My case is exceptional as I wasn't born with it and it was induced by an emergency surgery causing lymph damage . My form of the disease is more painful, aggressive and disabling than what is usual as it is throughout my entire body and needs to be stabilized and reversed to a degree urgently.
