Let me start by saying, I never thought I would find myself sitting here writing a Go Fund Me. This is humbling beyond words.
In March I made the decision to close Rare Byrd Salon before the SIP was put in place, out of concern for our community and my team, with that being said, I had no idea it would continue this long and have very unsettling thoughts and feelings about when it will end and what that will look like.
Rare Byrd Salon is a very special place, with a vibe like no other. We have a team of 10 women, 2 of which are about to give birth... We strive to provide a space where every individual feels welcomed and special.
Rare Byrd is a labor of love and was built of that, and now we must reach out to our community to help us stay afloat during this time.
We decided to go this route because so many members of our community have reached out to offer help, and it seems this is the best route.
So here we are asking our community, clients, friends, family to please donate any amount possible to help cover the overhead of Rare Byrd Salon while we SIP. (we are all doing our part in trying to get help from the government, but at this point nothing has happened)
These funds will be used to pay the lease, bills and also allow us to make necessary changes for a safe and comfortable reopening.
We LOVE and APPRECIATE each and every one of you , and we are here for you... if you need anything please reach out to your stylist.
We honestly can't wait to see you back in our salon soon!
