Hi my name is Raylene and I am helping Raquel raise money for her father who needs help. First I’d like to share a little bit about Raquel. She is a 51 year old ray of light. I have worked with her for over a year and come to know her as a very diligent, dedicated, empathetic person. She goes above and beyond in her responsibilities at her role and always maintains a positive attitude regardless of her circumstances. She has been a hard worker all her life and came to this country to seek a better life. Everything that she has she worked so hard for and recently she has fallen in very difficult times as a result of her own health and stress trying her best to care for her father who is 79 years old while also working a full time job with no help. He has had difficulties dealing with the effects of cholelithiasis gallbladder and from a recent checkup also found out that he had a “complete degenerative atrioventricular block” and as a result will need an urgent surgery to implant a permanent pacemaker.
