On August 31, 2015 Raquel “Kaye” Sison Floresca entered into eternal rest. Raquel was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Stage IV lung cancer just seven weeks prior to her passing.  She fought a courageous battle with this disease until the very end.  She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her mother and dear friends, who took such wonderful care of her during her last weeks.

Raquel worked at El Camino Hospital for over 15 years, where she made many close friends. She enjoyed bowling, good food, and partying with her friends. We will miss her infectious smile, vivacious personality, and compassionate heart. She is survived by her mother, Julieta, brother, Eman, sister-in-law, Edna and niece, Erika, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
