In loving memory of Raquel Harris & Skylar Tapp

On the behalf of Raquel Harris mother Virgina Golden, she is reaching out asking for you guys help. It saddens us today that Raquel Harris 33 and Skylar Tapp 10 lost their lives in a home fire on this morning 9/13/25. Raquel relocated from North Carolina about a year ago in hopes of a fresh start and better life for her and her precious daughter Skylar. She had just opened her business Esthetique by Faith located at 317 E Jefferson street of Opelousas Louisiana. With the bar set high her business was off to a great start for her and her daughter. Raquel had a love and passion for pampering young ladies face including but not limited to eye lashes and eye brows. Sweet Skylar attended Helix Academy of Opelousas Louisiana. She loved to draw and dance. Raquel mom would love for both her Daughter (Raquel) and granddaughter (Skylar) bodies to be transported back to North Carolina for a proper burial where their family resides. Both of their lives were a blessing and their memory will forever be a treasure. On the behalf of the family anything you can offer will be greatly appreciated and accepted.
