Raquel Campos & Children

Hi, my name is Jessica Salas Morris and I’m fundraising in support of my cousin - Raquel Campos.

On Friday evening 5/19/23, Raquel and her children were attending a birthday party for her eldest daughter. A random act of violence occurred and Raquel and two others were struck by open gun fire. Raquel was shot a total of 6 times in both legs. Her injuries are not life threatening but she will have a long recovery ahead of her.

She has also had compounding series of personal setbacks for her and her children over the past year and is the sole provider for them. This incident was icing on the cake.

She is strong, and resilient and also stubborn and doesn’t like to ask for help. However, Raquel will be faced with mounting bills and expenses as she recovers from her injuries and tries to get back to work. The uncertainty of all of this along with the physical and emotional scars are daunting.

With that being said, we would like to start this GoFundMe for anyone that would like to assist in this time of need.

All donations are appreciated more than you know and ALL proceeds will go to Raquel and her children (Nathalie, Nayeli, and Steven).
