Hi everyone!

I’m Emily. I’m from Limerick in Ireland. I am 13 years old.

I have decided to do a joint fundraiser.

I’m going to donate 14 inches of my hair to the Rapunzel Foundation so that they will be able to make a wig for someone suffering from hair loss due to chemotherapy from cancer. At the same time, I am going to be looking for sponsorship from the public. I am hoping that people will sponsor me to do this so that I can donate this money to the children’s cancer ward in Crumlin Children’s Hospital in Dublin.

I chose this hospital because my brother was a patient there. He had a tumour removed from his heart. Thankfully in his case, the tumour, the size of an orange was not cancerous. The hospital, in particular a core group of people who minded him and my parents were amazing and I would like to give back.
