On February 16, 2016 Jakki spread her wings and flew home. She fought a good fight! Her pain has ended and our hearts are truly broken, yet we know she no longer has to suffer from the hardships of this life. She will forever be missed!
Jakki and I did our thang! We partied, traveled, went to concerts, laughed, talked, and talked some more (because we all know she was an phenomenal talker) and cried through the good and rough times. I had the privilege of helping her and Donnie Godlock (who preceded her in her homegoing) raise their 6 beautiful children, whom are all adults now. I am going to miss my Sis dearly, forever Ms Jacqueline Barbara Smith.
As I know Jakki had many friends, FB friends, and family that lives near and far that may like to donate for flowers and/or funeral expenses on her behalf. So I have set up a GoFundMe account to help. I would like to say thank you for your prayers, love, and continuous support through her journey and this trying time. I know this is tough on us as we know it is hard for you as well, so please continue to keep her children and family in your prayers.
