UPDATE:
Rango's symptoms are heavily aligned with FIP. While his diagnosis is difficult, we are determined to help our little buddy fight the odds! We have a really long road ahead of us, but we're able to face it knowing we have a whole team of cheerleaders by our side.

Yesterday what we thought to be a mild
vet visit turned into an overnight trip at the ER vet. Our lovely boy had signs of tummy troubles which are now being tested for lymphoma or FIP. Neither diagnosis is what anyone wants to hear. Between overnight vet stays and lots of testing and blood draws, the cost has begun to rise past what we can afford on our own.
While we await an official diagnosis, we want to make sure our buddy can stay as comfortable as possible. He came into our world 6 months ago and brought so much comfort and joy after a really scary time in our personal lives, we want to be able to do the same for him.
Everyone who knows Rango knows he has a heart full of love and happiness. Whatever the outcome of these next few days is, all we ask is for a little help from our friends to keep our little monkey and star biscuit baker comfy for as long as we can.
