Ranger Pipe kickstarter

I am an Army veteran trying to make something of my life.  I was a Ranger assigned to 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment and deployed 3 times to the Middle East.  I live in Bakersfield, California.  Work constantly between my primary day job and a small business of welding/fabrication.   I have a small daughter that depends on me to give her the best life I can.  

Last year,  I was going through a really dark time.  I battle with depression, (not always easy to admit) and I had hit an all time low.  The only thing I could think of was to work and keep my mind off of things.  I thought of my daughter and what she would think of me if I were to give up.  Giving up was not an option.    Physical fitness was an escape and a release during that time and I was doing workouts that could be done at home , with little to no equipment.   Then I had an idea, a design for a weight.  One weight that has multiple uses and functions for different workouts and you dont have but to change body position and grip.  It is a simple design and easy to use for anyone.  It is primarily a metal shell that can be used as is but to increase weight, you can add sand.  Sand weight, if not fully filling the apparatus, distributes unevenly, forcing the body to use those smaller, overlooked, stabilizer muscles and increasing overall strength and muscle memory.  This design and concept completely erases the need for multiple bars, plates, dumbells, racks, benches, etc.  It is easy to store, it is durable, its design fits most cross training and crossfit workouts, and its function can cover upwards of 30 different lifting/pressing positions without having to swith equipment. 

I have completed the patent application process and it sits in "patent pending" status.  The help of wonderful supporters and donors funds have made that happen.  Unfortunately the patent process is tough and could have setbacks which would force more legal and filing fees.  I need to keep my invention my own and acquire the 20 year patent.  I refinanced my house and consolidated some other debt just to be able to start and with the help of friends and believers, have come very far but the journey isn't over.  I am in need of a kickstarter to  help provide capital to get materials and machining to build pipes and fully patent and market my idea.  This year will be focused primarily on building, selling, and promoting to ensure that the patent comes through.  With your help, this all can happen.  Please help a Rangers dream of inventing something, that can help people, come to fruition.   Thank you!!   Rangers Lead The Way!!!!
