Range’s Community Wildfire Support

The destruction of the wildfires throughout the Greater Los Angeles area is devastatingly profound and wide-reaching. From first-responders to the individuals & families who have lost homes or businesses to those who have lost their jobs accordingly, the impact of these wildfires will reverberate in our neighborhoods & broader community for weeks, months and years to come.

Due to the many inquiries we are getting from our employees, clients, industry partners and more, we are launching this fundraiser to benefit two organizations providing both immediate and medium-term support for those directly impacted by the fires.

Through our individual efforts and collective ones, we can make a meaningful impact.

Our Partners

We are working with World Central Kitchen and the National Domestic Workers Alliance . Both organizations are set up to receive and use or distribute this relief money in targeted efforts for this current emergency:

World Central Kitchen (WCK), founded by Range Culinary client José Andrés, is first to the frontlines providing fresh meals in response to crises. Applying their model of quick action, leveraging local resources, and adapting in real time, WCK has served hundreds of millions nourishing meals around the world. WCK is currently is on the front-lines providing free meals in California for first responders and community members in the impacted areas in Southern California.

The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) is the nation's leading voice for dignity and fairness for the millions of domestic workers in the United States, most of whom are women. In response to the wildfires impacting the livelihoods of these essential yet vulnerable workers, NDWA is providing emergency relief funding to their local affiliate organizations in Southern California who are working on the ground to support nannies, housecleaners and caregivers experiencing wildfire related financial hardships and loss of employment.

Donations to this fund are tax-deductible to the extent permissible by U.S. law. Money will be given to verified charitable needs at the discretion of GoFundMe.org.
