Ranee Grover was larger than life

We are completely devastated that, on March 27, Ranee Grover passed away unexpectedly from a severe case of pneumonia. Her family, her friends, and so many other people are simply in disbelief.
Ranee was good at so many things. She was a skilled hair stylist, a creative interior designer, an unwavering friend, a pack leader, a fierce defender of children, a devoted grandmother, a passionate ally to the mistreated, and so much more. But the thing Ranee loved most was being a mom. Atop the list of wonders that Ranee left us to appreciate and enjoy is her beautiful family.
In the few days since we lost Ranee, so many people have reached out desperate to show their love and support for Ranee’s daughters, and grandchildren – two of which she was raising who are 3 and 4 years old respectively. As you can imagine, or as you might know from your own experience, in these first days it’s hard to know what specific types of things will be most helpful to Ranee’s family going forward.
Right now, we request you show your support by making contributions here. What those closest to Ranee will find most comforting in the coming days and weeks is knowing that her family has the proper resources to meet their needs and best adjust to the changes needed following Ranee’s death.
In addition to helping offset hospital and memorial expenses, your contributions will help Ranee’s family cover the ongoing costs of raising her two granddaughters, Ahoneste and Serenity. More than anything, your generous contributions will allow Ranee’s family the time to simply be present with one another alongside the love that Ranee gave and will continue to give them. We ask that you please share this page far and wide so everyone has an opportunity to give.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Ranee on Saturday, April 8 at the Federated Church of East Arlington, 102 Ice Pond Rd, Arlington, VT at 2:00 PM. We will post any other updates here as well and we invite you to share your memories of and feelings for Ranee here (or pass them along to her daughters Ariel, Britaney, Chalissa, Destiny, Ebony, or Felicity).
Ranee was loved so, so much. We are lucky to have had Ranee in our lives and we are all immensely better people for having known and loved her. Because she made lives so much richer in countless different ways, it is hard to even imagine how much she will be missed. Yet, we know the love Ranee gave to us and to the world will live forever.
