Randy Simmons Scholarship Fund

All of the Peoria high schools have long been blessed by Randy and Patti Simmons. Their dedication to education has impacted thousands of students throughout their decades of service. To honor this legacy, an annual scholarship is being created at each of the local Peoria Public high schools: Manual, Peoria High, and Richwoods. The scholarship will be given out yearly and presented during the schools' Senior Honors Day every spring beginning with the class of 2019.

In addition to this fundraiser and collections at each of the schools, our goal is to establish an annual 5K to celebrate the Simmons' shared love for running. 

This scholarship will be overseen by the Peoria Public Schools Foundation. The criteria and scholarship amount will be established in the near future when all stakeholders are able to meet.
