The Searcy Family
On January 22, 2018, one of my best friends lost her son, Randy Searcy, son of Ray and Joanne Searcy. He was tragically killed while driving a utility van when he crashed into a semitrailer that was stopped at a traffic light. He died on the way to the hospital.
Randy was a single dad who drove truck for a living and spent his free time with his 8-year old daughter, Ella. Randy and Ella have lived with his mom (Joanne) most of Ella’s life. Randy was a good father to Ella and they had a particularly close bond. She was the light of his life. Ella is a precocious, intelligent, quick, and loving young girl. She loves to learn, loves her pets, and loves to dance. Most of all, she loved her daddy.
Those of you who know Randy know that he had a tender heart. He was always willing to help one in need, and often the first to respond to a friend’s request. Unfortunately, there was no insurance or savings to take care of death expenses or the needs for Ella’s future.
We who love the Searcy family, would appreciate any help you may give to help with the expenses the family will concur at this difficult time (including funeral, burial, and support of Ella). The services will be held early next week.
