Randy Reschke IBEW - SDG&E Family Assistance Fund

Last night our Brother Randy Reschke, a Journeyman Lineman and 8 year IBEW 465 member, went into cardiac arrest and passed away from complications related to COVID. All of us at IBEW Local 465 and at SDG&E are devastated by this tragic loss of Brother Randy who was just 29 years old and leaves behind his wife Kristina, a 3 year old daughter Rylee and a 6 year old daughter Josephine.

 

In partnership with the family of our fallen brother, the leadership of his union (IBEW 465) and with permission from his wife Kristina we have launched this GoFundMe in order to assist the family in their time of need. With uncertain and difficult times ahead it is important to let his family know that they are not alone and so many of us love our brother Randy.

Randy was born on March 24th 1992 and lived in Vista, CA. He joined IBEW Local 465 when he was hired at SDG&E in January of 2013 and after completing his apprenticeship became a Journeyman Lineman and worked out of our Carlsbad Construction Yard. Randy was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife and their two daughters. He was an outdoorsman, an incredible fisherman, and someone we could all depend on. There are no words to describe the pain and sorrow that we are all feeling from the loss of this 29 year old brother who had so much life left to live.
