Randy Needs a Standing Frame

Randy Charon is a proud member of Pipefitters Local 636 who has been confined to a wheelchair since an accident in 1999 which paralyzed him from his waist down.
Nevertheless, he doen't indulge in self pity and remains active and avid.
But, this is becomming more difficult because he has suffered and will continue to suffer the adverse and painful side effects of long-term wheelchair use:
reduced bone density (or osteoporosis)
reduced/atrophied muscles
skin breakdown (such as pressure sores, a.k.a. "bed sores")
spasticity/spasms
changes in blood pressure and blood flow
cardiovascular conditions
contractures and joint problems
Randy's physician has strongly recommended a Standing Frame which will allow him to strengthen his upper body muscles, stretch and straighten his spine and prevent pressure wounds. His insurance has denied this many times.
The sooner we can make this happen, the sooner Randy can improve the quality of his health and his life.
His gratitude wouild be endless.
