Randy Herzog

On December 9th, Randy was diagnosed with stage 4 gallbladder cancer. At that time, the cancer had already spread to his liver, stomach, and lungs. The original prognosis was 6 months to 12 months with chemotherapy. On December 16th Randy started his chemotherapy, he completed two treatments before he started to get worse on Christmas. On January 3rd Deb took Randy to the hospital because his condition was rapidly declining. Over the weekend they did a series of tests, and on January 5th we were told that he was in complete liver failure. Randy was transitioned to hospice, and on January 8th he was moved to Sleepy Eye Care Center. In the early morning hours of January 9th, Randy passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. With Randy’s unexpected diagnosis and the rapid decline in health, the family is now left with a lot of medical expenses and funeral costs.  Any help for the family is greatly appreciated.
